4/13/09-4/15/09 Big sur and Jade Cove camping, private invitation - Highway 1 is the world #1 highway.  The section near Big sur  and Jade cove is the best of best. I just reserved a camping site for April 13 - 15, Monday to Wednesday.  The site is overlooking the Pacific ocean with great trail on cliff, up hill to national forest , with beaches full of jade stone.

We will meet at the entry of Botanical Garden (the bloom in the map).  The blue lines will be the path we take.  We will take a hike in the Botanical Garden then cross the South Dr to Stow lake.   Please park legally around the area and proceed to Botanical Garden.

2/1/09 Wildlife Refuge - 2pm-Bird Watching, 3pm-Hiking, 5pm-Sunset, Dinner optional

  • WHERE: Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
    Parking is free (see map at end). http://www.fws.gov/desfbay/

    EVENTS:
    1) 2:00 pm  - Bird Watching.
    Meet at "Fishing Peer", Do not park at Visitor Center. Follow the sign, go 3 miles further to the fishing peer.  Camera and Binocular are recommended.
    2) 3:00 pm - Hiking.
    Meet at "parking lot of Visitor Center". Please do not go up to Visitor center. We will take a route that ends at visitor center so we can enjoy the sunset at the visitor center at the right time.
    3) 5:00 pm - Sunset.
    Watch sunset on the cliff outside of visitor center.
    4) 6:30 pm - Dinner together.

青青合唱團 邀請您和您的好朋友有個美好的新年健行 - 歡迎攜伴參加.
時間:  新年一月一日星期四十點正. 大約玩個兩個鐘頭吧. 健行完,可找個地方聚餐也不錯吧.
地點:  castle rock state park門口見  城堡岩加州州立公園.
行車路線: Saratoga城間九號公路往Santa Cruz Mountains至山頂,左轉三十五號公路,
約五分鐘車程,可見castle rock state park標誌, 我們通常延公路邊免費泊車.
費用: 泊車約七美元一車. 如果您泊車於公園入口內, 請一定得交泊車費.
否則罰款數十元,得自行?擔喔. 我們通常延公路邊免費泊車, 倒也還好.
健行路線: 我們預計先經Saratoga Gap Trail登Goat Rock 讓小朋友爬爬岩,
再前往瀑布觀景.而後原路折返於公園入口處解散. 後聚餐與否,自由決擇.
如果下大雨, 健行路線可能太泥濘, 就得改日喔.
